The studies conducted have revealed that these couplings occur due to various reasons. One cause is that the first disease generates some bodily damage, which results in the second illness, though unrelated. Another cause identified is that the two illnesses are caused by the same external problem, like smoking, damaged gene, lack of exercise or poor health habits.
