Credit : topnews A recent finding has revealed that dilated cardiomyopathy may be linked with gene mutations. Gene mutations in a way, causes heart muscle disease and even leads to chronic heart failure. There are adults who can have dilated cardiomyopathy and then be bearing gene mutation syndromes. Gene mutation affects the person as a child very quickly and then adults also go on to be effected by these syndromes. Dilated cardiomyopathy happens to be one of the most common causes of heart failure among young adults. This disease can

be solved through well timed heart transplantation. When the heart becomes weakened and over pressurized through continued enlargement it cannot pump blood on its own. This is when heart transplantation is being called forth. The research shows 208 people with 3 variations of ANKRD1 and gets related to dilated cardiomyopathy. The study has come on print on the July 21st issue of Journal of the American College of Cardiology .
