The WSJ’s In the Lab column today focuses on what scientists are learning from people with a key trait in common with Rafael Nadal, Barack Obama and Bill Gates — that is to say, left-handers. Researchers cited in the article are mostly interested in disorders related to brain development such as dyslexia, schizophrenia and ADHD, all of which are more common in lefties. A WSJ

video looks at other aspects of what we know about left-handedness. Among those myths that have been debunked: lefties aren’t more accident-prone, nor do they die earlier, than righties.
