Every February during American Heart Health Month, we are reminded that healthy lifestyle habits are the best way for women to reduce their risk of heart disease, and that means incorporating a large dose of cardio into your everyday life. Doing cardio exercises regularly helps make your heart stronger , so in honor of Heart Health Month , we’ve rounded up three important tips to help you get the most out of your next cardio workout. Vary it up . You should be doing at least three different types of cardio workouts each week

to help strengthen all parts of your body, so set a plan to run, bike, or swim your way through the week. Do your cardio first . Before you start weight training, warm up with at least 20-30 minutes of cardio before – it’ll help burn more calories than if you started with weight training. Find your zone . Invest in a good heart rate monitor so you can track your stats and leave the guessing out of it.
