Cardio is a cornerstone component of exercise and heart and mental health, and when it comes to the favorite form for that sweet sweat, most FitSugar readers pick running. We’ve been asking you about your favorite things of 2010 and when we asked what your go-to cardio source was for the year, running raced to the finish line first . Thirty-eight percent of FitSugar readers said running was their cardio of choice, followed by 18

percent who favored group exercise classes, and 16 percent who picked cardio machines. There’s no doubt running gets the job done, which must be why running won the favorite cardio title in 2009 and 2008 as well. Whatever you do to get your heart rate up, just keep on doing it.
